About Joanne Reisman
Joanne Reisman has been practicing law in Oregon for over 33 years. She received her law degree from Lewis and Clark Law School in 1983. She did her undergraduate studies at UCLA where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Economics cum laude in 1980. A member of the Oregon State Bar since 1983, she is also a member of the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association, the Multnomah County Bar Association, the Washington County Bar Association and is admitted to practice in the Federal District Court and Federal Bankruptcy Court for the District of Oregon.
Joanne Reisman fights hard for her clients while at the same time giving no-nonsense practical advice and will often counsel clients to avoid protracted, expensive, and risky litigation. Ms. Reisman uses a unique multidisciplinary approach to solving legal problems. Joanne Reisman's practice serves clients in Portland and the
Tri-County metropolitan area, including Multnomah County, Washington
County and Clackamas County and residents in the cities of
Portland, Beaverton, Tigard, Clackamas, Oregon City, Gladstone,
Milwaukie, Gresham, Estacada and Hillsboro. She has also appeared in cases in Columbia County, Yamhill County, Marion County, Hood River County, and Umatilla County. When appropriate she can
assist with cases involving neighboring states or multi-jurisdictional
issues and can counsel clients that may be located outside the Portland area. She is available for consultations on cases relating to legal matters anywhere in the State of Oregon or cases involving Oregon residents with issues in other State or Federal Jurisdictions. Telephonic appointments may be scheduled for clients not living within a convenient travel distance to her Portland office.
Self taught in Spanish, Joanne Reisman rates her speaking fluency at 9 on a scale of 1 - 10. She has been active in helping the Latino community for many years and published legal articles in the newspaper "Noticias Latina".
Through her 35 years of experience she has participated in many court proceedings, trials, hearings, arbitrations, and appeals. This experience helps her to evaluate and realistically advise you on your case.
